The Double sided insert fireplace from Signi Fires® is available either in full stainless steel or high heat powder coated matt black. The Signi Fires double sided fireplace is ideal for areas where you want to enjoy one fireplace from two rooms. A double sided fireplace is a great way to divide a large room into two separate zones for example between your living and dining room or between your en suite bathroom and bedroom. These double sided bio fuel fireplaces can easily be retrofitted as they do not need fixed flues or gas pipes. They are flueless and can be positioned into a freestanding and mobile display. The double sided Slimline insert fireplace is available in various sizes to accommodate most size rooms. The available sizes include 900, 1100, 1350, 1650 and 2000. The fireplace can be installed without the fascia. Heat can also be vented to different rooms by means of two additional outlets on top of the fireplace. The Lacunza Nickle double sided insert fireplace is perfect for freestanding or dual room applications. Use the double sided closed combustion fireplace in a freestanding structure for larger open plan areas or as a divider between two rooms. The Nickle double sided insert fireplace is available in two sizes. 800 mm and 1000 mm. Both sizes come standard with a removable ash pan as well as two 50 mm 4-sided fascias. The fascias are used to cover the edge of the opening in your wall around the fireplace. The primary air control is positioned below the doors and can be controlled from either side of the fireplace. The double sided insert fireplace has a base of black refractory brick and black vermiculite sides. These two materials together create the perfect combustion environment for high efficiency.

Lacunza Midi 700 Cast Iron Insert Fireplace

The Lacunza Midi 700 cast iron insert fireplace is built to last with a solid cast iron body and cast iron internal components. The Midi is compact at only 700mm wide but its powerful. Nominal heat output is 10kW up to 11.4kW. With 25 to 30 cubic meters per kW this little cast iron insert fireplace can heat up to 300 cubic meters. Roughly 120 square meters. These calculations does depend on other factors such as amount of glass windows, ceiling height and how well the building is insulated. The Midi 700 cast iron insert fireplace comes standard with a 4 sided 50mm fascia included in the price.

The Lacunza Itaca closed combustion insert fireplace is the most powerful Lacunza fireplace available in South Africa. The Itaca has an impressive 17kW nominal output up to 21kW. More than enough heat for most South African houses. The Itaca has a unique vertical sliding door which works with a counter weight system ensuring smooth and effortless movement of the glass door. The unobstructed view of the fire is almost 1200 mm wide. The Itaca comes standard with a very powerful convection fan that draws cold air from the room and sends it through convection channels around the fireplace. As the air moves through these channels it gets hot which is then circulated into the room by the same powerful fan. The Itaca closed combustion insert fireplace comes with wheels attached to the body for easier movement into your house. After the fireplace is placed into position the adjustable legs are lowered raising the fireplace off the wheels. You will need a power supply to power the fan and you must have two air vents in the wall, one below and one above the fireplace.

Firefox has for many years designed and made canopies to go over gas braais. Our extractor fan is the most powerful of those used for domestic applications and enables the canopy height to be put at about 900mm above the top of the braai. Typically this means 1.8m above floor level and keeps the canopy out of the way of most people’s heads. Our new style standard canopies are made out of brushed stainless steel c/w swivel lights, giving an excellent finish to your covered patio. Available in 1000mm, 1250mm or 1500mm wide. They can be installed with either a vertical flueing system through the roof or a rear exit, where there is an external wall. The rear exit system is particularly neat, in that the fan is mounted in the external wall behind the canopy, with a louvre sitting on the external wall, through which the fumes/smoke exit - the only domestic system in SA where this can be done.

Filter Frame

Our filter frames are designed to be used where there is an existing brick chimney in which a gas grill is operating but the smoke/fumes are not being drawn properly up the chimney. An electrical fan is mounted to the top or rear of the chimney to draw the smoke up, and a custom made filter frame mounted in the brick chimney above the grill to catch the grease. The filter frames have the same removable filters as our canopies and are fitted out with reccessed lights.

These grills are designed to drop into a counter top, very much the same as you would a kitchen hob. They provide a sleek and stylish option to the more traditional braai look. As with a kitchen hob, some air needs to be drawn from the cupboard for the combustion process to work efficiently. As our units have powerful 8kw burners, the air requirement will be higher than for a typical hob. We recommend that allowance be made for reasonable air ingress to the cupboard space. This could take the form of a louvre on the cupboard door, or a louvre in the kick plate and in the lower surface of the cupboard. As with all gas grills our units have a drip tray at the bottom of the unit to catch any fat that drops though the burner area. It is important that this tray can be accessed and cleaned periodically

Over the years we have sold a few simplistic table braais, but have felt that we are not really tapping into the market, where a stylish Table Braai can be installed into a recess/chimney in the wall. With the use of a good quality clay brick or tile to line this recess up to the chimney, a good design Table Braai could look stunning, giving a different effect to that of a traditional built in steel box. We have used the components from our Multifunction built in braais and have encased these in a decent outer box. As with our other braais these Table Braais can be manufactured in a range of metals, depending on the application. For enhanced visual effect , to provide a shelf in front of the braai or to waterproof the braai when it is located in rain conditions, an optional Waterproofing Cover/shelf can be purchased, which simply bolts to the underside of the Table Braai. Waterproofing Covers are made in either 304 or 316 Stainless Steel for enhanced life expectancy and visual appeal.
